ballz

I played softball in middle school.
I'm pretty sure I was awful, but I loved it.
(Or I love the memory of it.)
Either way, summer will always be ball fields & sunflower seeds.

A few weeks ago, I visited my cousins and watched the girls' play softball!
It was too sweet.

Because I'm awesome and it was so bright that I couldn't quite see what I was doing, I ended up with some cool pictures of some backs of heads.  And the girls in the background.  Artistic?

The cutie boys came too, of course.

They did so great!  It was so fun to be in that atmosphere again.
My kids better want to play or I'll just have to myself.

adventuring

Early Friday morning (like I woke up at 4.30 and was running on adrenaline all day, early), Karlie and I headed with her mom to Salt Lake to herd geese with some hot local DNR guys.  Five hours of smelly, traumatizing, beautiful herding of Canada Geese.  *They've molted and lost their flying feathers, so they had to be gathered and transported back to the wild. Like Wyoming.

Please enjoy our sleepy faces.

Our favorite of the three stops we made was Hogle Zoo.  We got there before it opened and we walked in the back entrance past the dumpsters, some construction, and finally, a camel, gorilla, and peacock.  It was oddly peaceful.  And free.

Karlie's mom and her friend are crazy adventurous and spent time snuggling and picking up geese out of bushes on the side of the road.  We mostly watched.

We also might have seen lots of poop flying and watched a poor baby goose die.  But hey, all in a day's work, right?

beachin

I went home last month.
And I decided I want to make home videos like crazy
for this next bit of my life.
I decided this after I left with very little video.

So, all we have is some weirdness.
But it will be embarrassing and awesome in 10 years,
and that's all I can ask for.

the rooftop

I love this rooftop.

Don't tell anyone, but I think I missed Provo a little.
