this is my family.

i am a huge fan of family home evening groups.
these kids are some of my favorite in the ward.

(also, please notice how I can't be normal in a picture ever)

this is our darling brother roberto, who was shopping or something while we photographed.
we still love him,

no, i'm not catholic

obviously.  so why is it, that when i mention i'm participating in lent, that's all anyone focuses on!  nothing about how great it is that i'm abstaining from things that are bad for me, just "you're not catholic?"
no, i'm not.  yes, i gave up things for lent.  personally, it was a set, obtainable goal, some time after the new year.  and it was great.

this year, i gave up fast food and soda for lent!  i basically completed it.  minus one st. patrick's day root beer kegger, and one emergency hamburger instead of not eating all day.  i call that a success.

also a success?  roommate pictures for easter & family pictures tonight!  i call that productive.  also, getting dressed.

lots of this happened.

there was a large bug.  real reaction right there.

happy easter!

love, the girls in 318

p.s. Kylee said exactly what I wanted to say today.
our bishop also quoted elder wirthlin.  it was a beautiful meeting.
our sunday will come!  and it will be great.

i'm a time bomb

I dub today the craziest day in my academic history.
Maybe just in college.  Because I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure I worked harder in high school.  Maybe.

BUT.  I mostly finished, and going to bed at 2 am still gives me a solid 6 hours of sleep.  That, I can deal with.

I'm a little amazed I got things done, even if I had to skip class to do it.  It's a little ridiculous, but I'm a little ridiculous.  And it will all work out in the end.  Or iOt won't.

Wanna know my secret?

Five hour energy.  Chocolate milk.  A cute boy sitting across the table to keep me at the library.
& The Format.

One more Monday, people!  We can do it!
