I started Downton Abbey.
And by started, I mean I watched the whole first season in a 24.5 hour period.
And now I have to finish the second season by 3/6 before its taken off PBS,
because if I have to wait for it to be on Netflix, I will surely die.
I didn't understand the obsession at all until I began, and it really only took the first episode.
Sometimes bad decisions are worth it.
Has anyone else watched it that wants to discuss?

if I woke up from a coma and Channing Tatum told me he was my husband, I wouldn't question it.
Now that most of the world has seen The Vow, I will review it for you.
For us, it started like this:
For us, it started like this:
being a little cray cray because we were on a spontaneous midnight adventure.
covering the beard and the cleavage.
our true feelings about what we were about to do.
Anyway, I loved it! I laughed, I cried, I saw Channing Tatum's behind for way too long, and I felt it was different enough from all other similar movies that I would watch it again.
And I have to watch it again because I passed out with about 20 minutes left. I had to pee really bad and when I got back I got super dizzy and I fainted onto the seat in front of me. Taylor rubbed my back and I just hung out until I could stand up. So, I was informed how it ended, but I have no recollection.
College is great.

how do I love thee?
I love Valentine's. Anna Howard Shaw Day. Single's Awareness.
I wouldn't say it's my number one holiday, but it is way up there.
I feel like I'll love it even more when I have kids and I'll have an excuse to smother and embarrass them with my affection.
I'm all for celebrating romantic love, but love is great no matter what form, and this year, I have so many Valentines.
My family:
(my sweet nephew, whom I miss terribly. and all the other ones!)
(pretend this is all the Grants)
My frans:

we got out of ptown!
One Saturday last month, Jill and I had a few free hours and nothing to, so we went to Centerville! We got a free homemade lunch (awesome) and hung out with my favorite JDawg.
And I took pictures of them before we had a snow fight.
I love my friends.
And mini road trips.
Justin made a huge deal about seeing how cold the water was.
Five minutes later we asked him why he didn't just stick his hand in.
We're in college. We're smart.

chasing pavements
Last Saturday, I had my family birthday party for the big 1-9!
They only overshadowed me a little because Lauren announced she's pregnant and Eleanor is 1 and adorable...
Anyway, this year it was Safari themed! Usually my Uncle John and I share this partay, because his birthday is just a week after mine. But this year we got cousin Clara who was lucky enough to be born at the end of January last year, and cousin Matt (who sported an impressive loin cloth) whose birthday is today!
We didn't get any group shots because we were just so excited/tired, but it was so fun.
the monkey in his natural habitat.

Until next year! I gotta go live up my last teenage year and do some homework and stuff.
